So we spend Easter with Brian's family and Thanksgiving with mine. We get to my parents house and spend all day there. Even bringing comfy clothes for later on when we've clearly eaten too much!! The food, of course, is amazing!! From the pumpkin bread, to the turkey, to the cornbread stuffing (my fav) everything is so yummy!! And football is an essential part of completing the whole Thanksgiving day package at our house. The traditions include staples, such as pumpkin bread or my aunts chocolate pie...or playing a game of Uno. Spending time with family is the best part about it!! Over the years some of the traditions have changed but the heart of the Holiday remains the same, Family.Denice Borchardnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-533447249485609091.post-13063824191296666462010-10-31T11:19:52.691-07:002010-10-31T11:19:52.691-07:00Hi Missy! I've been thinking about a Thanksgiving tradition, and it took me a little bit... But thinking back, I remember going to my dad's mom's house and she would have all the normal Thanksgiving food, along with a big pot of posole stew and it was delicious!

Other Thanksgiving traditions include watching the Macy's parade, eating delicious food, reading a good book, and getting out the Christmas tree! We usually put it up that night or Friday morning, and get it all decorated!Jordan Cainnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-533447249485609091.post-6000076598082960352010-10-31T08:10:34.154-07:002010-10-31T08:10:34.154-07:00Of course my most memorable Thanksgivings are all ...Of course my most memorable Thanksgivings are all the ones that I get to spend with you and the family. As much as I love the food and spend hours preparing it, my favorite tradition is one my husband started. Just as we sit down to eat, before we pray, each person gets to say what they are thankful for. Over the years I have been amazed and blessed by what people have shared.Addie Fredericksonhttp://www.leapoffaitharts.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-533447249485609091.post-77389685054858415112010-10-31T06:40:00.965-07:002010-10-31T06:40:00.965-07:00The large table (adult table and kid table) set to...The large table (adult table and kid table) set to perfection ;). My dad always went hunting for a turkey and my mom made the best herb dressing. We didn't go hungry on Thanksgiving, that's for sure. When I married John (Pam Park's dad) I was introduced to corn bread dressing and gravy with eggs in it. I love these new traditions and make both kinds of dressing. I hope my girls have introduced something from my traditions as their own.Sharon Hermenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01586057066536181330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-533447249485609091.post-89670376511359470822010-10-30T23:32:12.171-07:002010-10-30T23:32:12.171-07:00My favorite thanksgiving tradition is one that sta...My favorite thanksgiving tradition is one that started when I was just a baby. My mom and dad were a part of the military, so they were never close to family. My mom would invite single military guys over so they could experience a great family holiday, even without they're loved ones near. Each year it evolved and grew into just extending a welcoming hand to those without family during the holidays. I will never forget this tradition and will continue it on with my family.Cherithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13847811726974442443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-533447249485609091.post-35071563271917717312010-10-30T23:11:09.420-07:002010-10-30T23:11:09.420-07:00Just left a link on facebook!Just left a link on facebook!pamelottahttp://www.pamelotta.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-533447249485609091.post-12902976405514723552010-10-30T23:01:21.532-07:002010-10-30T23:01:21.532-07:00I think my favorite Thanksgiving tradition is to e...I think my favorite Thanksgiving tradition is to eat!
